A move-in ready home may also be referred to as a quick-close home, inventory home or spec home. It is a newly built home for which the builder has selected all of the features — including the location, floor plan, exterior design, cabinets, appliances, features and finishes. Most builders offer their move-in ready homes for sale during construction, allowing buyers to place a contract on them before they are complete, with closing taking place upon completion, as usual.

Most pre-owned homes don’t come with a comprehensive warranty. However, all of Fischer & Frichtel’s homes, including our Move-In Ready homes, are covered by a 10-year limited warranty. Our warranty program is unique because, during year one, service requests related to defective materials and workmanship are managed by F&F Homes and the subcontractors who built your home. During year two, specific portions of the HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems are serviced as needed. If the home is sold within the 10-year term, the RWC warranty will transfer to the new owner.
