Homeowners at Birdie Hills Crossing will enjoy 236,000
square feet of sports and workout facilities at the
St. Peters RecPlex that are fully accessible to people
of all abilities. From world-class indoor pools for
swimming and diving, to NHL-size ice rinks to state-of-
the-art fitness machines and an indoor track. Rec-Plex
passholders may also take advantage of fitness classes
and recreational programs, basketball, volleyball, and
pickleball in open-play gymnasiums, a gaming lounge,
food court and tot drop. Amenities include:
The St. Peters Rec-Plex has three NHL-sized indoor ice
rinks with spectator seating. The Rec-Plex North ice
rink is home to the region’s premier figure skating program,
host to various hockey programs, and the site for skate
sessions open to the public. The 600-seat ice rink
also hosts exhibition ice shows. The Rec-Plex South
building has two ice rinks: the larger
1,200-seat arena, called Wilkinson Ice Arena,
and Rink B, which has bleacher seating.
The Rec-Plex Natatorium is a world-class facility that has
hosted the U.S. Olympic Diving Trials, U.S. Olympic Festival
aquatic events, national and regional competitions, and
many local competitions. But, more often, it’s a place for
community—whether you have a family who enjoys the
leisure pool, you’re an adult keeping fit by swimming
laps, you’re looking for swim lessons, or you’re
a member of a local swimming or diving team.

The Rec-Plex’s Cardio and Weight Rooms offer
8,000 square feet of fitness area with state-of-the-art
equipment and 16 large-screen TVs. An elevated, indoor
track is accessible from the Cardio and Weight Rooms.
The Cardio and Weight Rooms and the Indoor Track are
open to ages 16 and up. Work out on the best cardio
equipment you can find in the 4,500 sq ft Cardio Room.

If you’re looking to strengthen and tone your body, you’ll
find all the equipment you need in the 3,500-square-foot
Weight Room. There are 48 pieces of Matrix weight
equipment, and also free weights, dumbbells, circuit
training equipment and other strength training equipment
for our Rec-Plex guests ages 16 and over.
The gymnasium at Rec-Plex North offers open play
basketball, volleyball, and pickleball. Bring your own
basketball, or rent a basketball from the front desk.
Rec-Plex South has three gymnasiums that offers open play
pickleball (free for Members) five days a week.
These gymnasiums can be rented.
Elevated track in the fitness area. Lanes are available for
both runners and walkers. Walkers are asked to use the
inside lane, and runners the outside lane. Number of laps
equaling 1 mile are: Inside Lane- 17,Middle Lane- 16,
Outside Lane-15.

The Rec-Plex Cycling Studio features Keiser M3I bikes that
let you control speed and resistance. Try out these
bikes during one of the Specialty Fitness Classes.
This 15-second scan will provide you with detailed data
about your body through more than 40 measurements,
providing a reading that will determine the difference
between muscle, fat mass, water and more. It is FREE for
Rec-Plex Personal Training Clients.
Users can play Nintendo Switch, XBox or PS5.
There are board games, too!
The North Food Court is a great place to stop after a
workout for a refreshing beverage or to refuel with a quick
snack. Rec-Plex South has concessions with viewing areas .
This location also offers arcade games, and alcoholic
beverages are available for purchase.
The adult locker rooms near the fitness areas provide
customers ages 18 and up with a steam room and dry
sauna in addition to showers and lockers. The family locker
rooms provide direct access to the Natatorium.
Tot Drop babysitting service is located on the main level.
Babysitting is available for children ages 3 months to
8 years for parents(or guardians) who are participating in
an activity on the Rec-Plex campus.
